Low-Edge Dice Comeback Guide

Given how unique this product is, it’s fair to write a mini guide on clawing back losses.

If you’ve dug yourself in and want to recover fast, you have three options:

  1. The best option: forget the loss, go to work, return the money to your family through honest labour, and never think about online casinos again. It’s the right choice, but it’s not for everyone.
  2. The worst option: try to hit a huge multiplier in a regular casino with 96% RTP or lower. Two things work against you: slot volatility (it will likely never pay you that big win) and the constant rake — every bet gives about 1/25 away to the casino for good. That’s bad. Don’t do it.
  3. A unique option: play Dice at the Duel casino with a 0.1% edge. Each bet only “takes” 1/1000 from you (forty times less!), so it mostly comes down to luck.

By simple maths: you can’t get more than you risk; any chance of a big win comes with similar risk. Again, two ways to play:

The correct and boring way.
Set aside a recovery amount, say $400. Pick a recovery target, say $2,000. That means you’re aiming for about x6. Enter x6 in the multiplier box, place your stake, and hope for the best — yes or no. Fast, painless, maximally efficient.

If efficiency isn’t your thing, and winning or losing on one spin feels dull, try this instead. Turn on auto-play. Set your stake to about 1/400 of your balance (if you have $400, start at 1). Set a take-profit at $2,000. Set infinite spins. On a win, reset the stake. On a loss, increase it by 17%. Set the win multiplier to x6 (~16.65% chance) and go. Either the old-school chase will be kind to you, or you’ll get bored watching the balance grow, or you’ll be unlucky and lose the lot.

The odds are a bit worse than with a single spin, but only slightly. At least you get to watch the numbers roll.

You can use this in other casinos too. Dice is usually 1% edge, much better than the average 4% on slots. You can choose how much to win: go for x100 or x1.1 — whatever you like. No pretty graphics, but it’s still fun.

At Duel you almost lose nothing in expectation; this matters. If you keep playing, choose games with the best expectation, ideally positive (rare, but they exist with promos or races), or at least the least negative.

Good luck, and don’t overdo it.
