Thrill HiLo: Rules, Odds and Winning Strategy

HiLo by Thrill is a simple high-low card game with a clean, modern feel. You place your stake, the game deals one card, and you guess whether the next card will be higher, lower, or equal.

An Ace counts as 1. The game uses an “infinite” deck, meaning each draw behaves like it comes from a fresh full deck with replacement. Because of that, draws stay independent, and the odds don’t “remember” what happened before.

On each choice (higher/lower/equal), you see a multiplier and the chance for that pick. So you’re always choosing between higher probability (usually lower payout) and lower probability (usually higher payout).

If the current card is an Ace (value 1), the next draw has these exact chances:

• Probability the next card is an Ace: 4/52 = 1/13 = 7.69%
• Probability the next card is not an Ace: 48/52 = 12/13 = 92.31%

Math and How it Works

Because every draw acts like it comes from a full 52-card deck, you can check the odds with basic rank counting:

• Equal is always 4/52 (7.69%), because there are 4 cards of each rank.
• Not higher (≤): count how many ranks are at or below the shown card (including the shown rank), then divide by 13.
  Example: for a 6, there are 6 ranks (A,2,3,4,5,6) → 6/13 = 46.15%.
• Not lower (≥): count how many ranks are at or above the shown card (including the shown rank), then divide by 13.
  Example: for a 6, there are 8 ranks (6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K) → 8/13 = 61.54%.

That’s it. You’re counting ranks, and each rank is equally likely in a fresh 52-card draw.

If you want a straightforward approach, start with the option that shows the best chance in that moment, then only take longer-shot picks when you’re happy with the risk for the higher multiplier.

In other words, you should follow the on-screen odds and choose options where the chance is on your side. The idea is that the math is already calculated for you, and the game is provably fair, so you can focus on timing and risk rather than guessing.
